2/16/2023 0 Comments Wifi disappeared on laptopIs this a known issue with Windows 11? If so, are there any solutions? I don't know what else to try, other than to do a full factory reset. Right now, the only way I have Internet is via a USB Ethernet dongle. I tried uninstalling all Windows Updates. I've tried checking HP's pre-installed software for drivers none available. I've tried checking Windows Updates for device drivers none available. I tried the Windows troubleshooter to no avail. Nope no WiFi adapter to be seen, installed or otherwise. I checked Device Manager to see if maybe the driver got messed up and the device was showing there. Bluetooth is still showing, but no WiFi adapter. Nope, it's like the adapter isn't there at all. OK, maybe some Windows Updates were being applied. Eventually, I noticed that the computer was restarting. Joined it to the domain just fine.Īfter installing a Ninite package, getting O365 installed, and our remote tools, I got busy with other stuff and let it sit there. Purchased it through the Windows store and the license was upgraded with no issue. I needed Win11 Pro since my company uses a domain. On initial set-up, I connected to WiFi with no problem. I bought a brand new HP Pavilion 15-eg1077nr yesterday.
